Crabby Appleton

Crabby Appleton was an American rock band that formed in the early 1970s. The band's members included Michael Fennelly (vocals, guitar), Felix "Flaco" Falcon (keyboards), Casey Foutz (bass), Hank Harvey (drums), and Phil Jones (percussion).

The band is best known for their 1970 hit single "Go Back," which peaked at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song features Fennelly's distinctive vocals and a catchy guitar riff, and has been described as a blend of psychedelic rock and bubblegum pop.

Crabby Appleton released two albums during their brief career: their self-titled debut in 1970, and "Rotten to the Core" in 1971. While neither album was a commercial success, they are well-regarded by fans of 1970s rock and have gained a cult following over the years.

After the band broke up in 1972, Michael Fennelly went on to have a solo career and worked as a songwriter for other artists, including the Beach Boys. Felix Falcon continued to work as a session musician and producer, while the other members of the band largely retired from the music industry.
