Frijid Pink is a rock band that was formed in 1967 in Detroit, Michigan. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Tom Beaudry, guitarist Gary Ray Thompson, bassist Tom Harris, and drummer Richard Stevers. They are best known for their cover of the song "House of the Rising Sun," which was a hit in 1970.

Frijid Pink's sound is characterized by heavy guitar riffs and bluesy vocals. They were part of the wave of hard rock and heavy metal bands that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In addition to "House of the Rising Sun," their other notable songs include "Sing a Song for Freedom," "Heartbreak Hotel," and "I'm on My Way."

The band released several albums throughout the 1970s, but they were not as successful as their early singles. They went through various lineup changes and eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s. However, they reunited in the 1990s and continue to perform and record new music.
