Joe Bonamassa
Joe Bonamassa is an American blues rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He was born on May 8, 1977, in New Hartford, New York, and grew up in Utica, New York. Bonamassa was exposed to music at a young age, as his parents owned a guitar shop and he started playing guitar when he was just four years old.
Bonamassa began his professional music career at the age of 12, when he opened for B.B. King. He gained recognition in the blues community in the early 2000s with his solo albums, which were heavily influenced by classic blues and rock music. He has released numerous albums throughout his career, including "Blues Deluxe," "Had to Cry Today," and "Black Rock."
Bonamassa has been praised for his exceptional guitar skills, and he has been compared to legendary guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He has collaborated with a variety of musicians, including Beth Hart, Glenn Hughes, and Joanne Shaw Taylor.
In addition to his music career, Bonamassa has been involved in philanthropic work, including his support of the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, which aims to support music education in schools.
