Mother's Finest is an American funk rock band that formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1970. The band was founded by vocalists Joyce "Baby Jean" Kennedy and Glenn "Doc" Murdock, and included guitarists Gary "Moses Mo" Moore and John Hayes, bassist Jerry "Wyzard" Seay, and drummer Barry "B.B. Queen" Borden. Mother's Finest gained a reputation for their high-energy live performances and their unique blend of funk, rock, and soul music. They released their self-titled debut album in 1972 and went on to release a string of successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Another Mother Further" (1977), "Mother Factor" (1978), and "Iron Age" (1981). The band is known for their distinctive sound, which features powerful vocals, funky guitar riffs, and a tight rhythm section. They also gained attention for their racially integrated lineup at a time when this was still uncommon in the music industry. Mother's Finest has continued to tour and record music over the years, and their music has influenced numerous artists in the funk rock and alternative rock genres. Some of their most popular songs include "Baby Love", "Piece of the Rock", "Fire", and "Love Changes". Mother's Finest I (1970-197_)
