Pat Travers

Pat Travers is a Canadian rock musician and guitarist, known for his high-energy guitar playing and blues-infused rock style. He was born on April 12, 1954, in Toronto, Canada. Travers began playing guitar at a young age and developed his skills by listening to and playing along with blues and rock records.

Travers started his music career in the 1970s, and his breakthrough came in 1979 with the release of his album "Live! Go for What You Know." The album featured Travers' signature guitar sound and included hit songs like "Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights)" and "Snortin' Whiskey."

Throughout the 1980s, Travers continued to release successful albums, including "Crash and Burn," "Radio Active," and "Black Pearl." He also collaborated with other musicians, including Ozzy Osbourne and Sammy Hagar.

Travers' music has been described as a blend of hard rock, blues, and boogie, and he is known for his dynamic live performances. He has continued to tour and record music, with his most recent album, "Swing!", released in 2020.

In addition to his music career, Travers is also an accomplished martial artist and has studied various disciplines, including Shotokan Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
